Fujifilm 400: A Film That Just Feels Right
Skateboarders move through the frame. Their speed and energy captured in a single instant. The Olympus XA-2, small and simple, was loaded with Fujifilm 400. The A11 flash popped in the low light, freezing the action with bold colors and texture.
Fujifilm 400 is a film for those who appreciate the character of analog photography. The grain adds depth, not distraction. The colors are vibrant yet natural. Skin tones appear true, shadows hold detail, and highlights feel balanced.
Under streetlights, Fujifilm 400 shines. Greens and reds come alive without being overpowering. Its exposure latitude allows for minor mistakes, making it a forgiving choice for casual or spontaneous shooting. This reliability is why I keep coming back to it.
The XA-2 pairs perfectly with this film. Its simplicity and built-in flash make it a great companion for quick, candid moments. This setup isn’t about perfection but about capturing the scene as it feels in the moment.
