Star Crossed Lovers - Archival Print
This is one of the most beautiful photographs I’ve made. Here are the reasons why.
•
In an extremely volatile, barren, windswept environment these two seeds chose yet another lifetime here. I assume they are star crossed lovers of some kind and despite their millions of lifetimes together they just haven’t been able to bring it together.
•
But they’re close.

This location is 600 miles from my doorstep. After days of travel and an afternoon of schedule conflicts I found myself chasing a closing park and this beautiful light. I parked the car and scrambled to grab my camera and a tripod hoping to have some time to photograph the sunset. But this view in the opposite direction was more beautiful.
•
As I framed the shot the storm we had just drove from continued to bubble in the background. It created the perfect backdrop for these two.

It truly is one of my favorite photographs. Small = 16” x 24”, Medium = 20” x 30”, Large = 24” x 36”
